Jessyca is a native Californian and started her career with an AS degree in Architecture from Modesto Jr College then ventured to Southern California to complete her Landscape Architecture Degree. Upon graduation, she joined the Los Angeles firm of Emmet Wemple and Associates where she had the opportunity to work on the J Paul Getty Center Museum.

After marrying an F/A-18 Navy Pilot, Jessyca moved to Virigina Beach, VA then New Orleans, LA, Fort Worth, TX, Vienna, VA, and Denver, CO. Upon the Navy retirement, they moved to Southern California which led to working as a pilot for FEDEX where they moved to Hong Kong for two years and are now living in Arlington, Texas. During these various moves, Jessyca was able to continue working in Landscape Architecture for various firms with opportunities for projects in commercial, educational, parks, and residential design.

In her spare time, Jessyca volunteers with an ESL (English as a Second Language) program.
