Nevue Residence

Project Overview

The Nevue Residence landscape was part of the post-Hurricane Katrina restoration of a home located near Lake Pontchartrain in New Orleans, Louisiana. The project included the restoration and redesign of both the front and rear gardens, along with the swimming pool.

The organic form of the pool reflects the lush, natural character of the surrounding planting design and hardscape. Curving edges and layered planting create a landscape that feels integrated with the home's setting.

The rear garden was designed to provide generous space for family activities while maintaining a relaxed residential atmosphere centered around the pool.

A diverse palette of tropical and southern plant species reinforces the character of Louisiana's ecology, creating a vibrant landscape that is both functional and regionally appropriate.
